Terms of Service

Effective October 13, 2026 · Version 2026-10-07

These terms are the agreement between you and RAG Consulting LLC, a Utah limited liability company ("we", "us"), for Senseline: the browser extension, senseline.app and senseline.io. By creating an account or using Senseline, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use Senseline.

If you use Senseline for your employer or another organization, you agree to these terms on its behalf, and you confirm you're allowed to.

What Senseline does

Senseline finds the acronyms and jargon on the page you're reading and shows what they mean, from your organization's own glossary. Senseline doesn't come with a built-in dictionary: every meaning comes from a glossary your organization writes.

Your account

You sign in with your email address and a one-time code we email you. There's no password, so keep your email account secure: anyone who can read your email can sign in as you. Tell us at hello@senseline.io if you think someone else has used your account.

You must be at least 18 to use Senseline.

Give us a real email address you control. One account is for one person; don't share it.

Organizations

Every glossary belongs to an organization. The person who creates an organization is its first admin. Admins can invite people, manage the glossary and the plan, and see how the organization uses Senseline, as described in the Privacy Policy.

The organization's glossary belongs to the organization, not to any one member. If you leave or delete your account, the terms you wrote stay with it.

The organization's owner is responsible for its plan and for paying for it.

Your content

"Your content" means the terms, meanings and other text your organization puts into Senseline.

  • You own your content. We don't claim any ownership of it.
  • You let us store, copy, process and display it only as needed to run Senseline for you and your organization, and to keep it safe.
  • We don't use your organization's glossary or page data to train AI models.
  • You're responsible for your content: you need the right to put it in Senseline, and it must not break the law or anyone else's rights.

Using Senseline properly

Don't:

  • break the law with Senseline, or use it to harm anyone;
  • try to get into accounts, organizations or data that aren't yours;
  • probe, scan or attack our systems, or put an unreasonable load on them;
  • copy, resell or rebrand Senseline, or reverse-engineer it except where the law allows it;
  • get around a plan's limits (for example by sharing one account between several people);
  • use Senseline to build a competing product.

We can suspend or close an account or organization that breaks these rules. Where it's reasonable, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to fix it.

Plans and billing

Free. One seat, which is the owner's. There's no limit on terms.

Tags. An organization on any plan can have up to 200 tags.

Paid plans. Paid plans are priced per seat per month and billed monthly in advance. The current prices are at senseline.io/pricing. You choose how many seats to buy, with a minimum of one, and there's no limit on terms. The owner takes a seat, and so does each person who joins the organization. An invitation doesn't take a seat until it's accepted. If seats are added or removed partway through a period, the next invoice charges or credits the difference for the rest of that period. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your card number. Prices don't include taxes, which we add where the law requires.

New organizations can try a paid plan free for 14 days, once.

If a payment fails and isn't sorted out, or a subscription ends, your organization's glossary becomes read-only. Nothing is deleted: everyone can still see every meaning. Adding, editing and inviting pause until the subscription is renewed, and then everything works again straight away.

Price changes. We'll email the organization's owner at least 30 days before a price change takes effect.

Cancelling. You can cancel at any time from Plan & Billing. A cancelled plan runs to the end of the period you've already paid for and isn't renewed. We don't refund part of a period.

If you're a consumer in the EU or UK. Senseline is sold for use at work. If the law where you live gives you 14 days to change your mind about a purchase, email hello@senseline.io within that time and we'll cancel it and refund you.

AI suggestions

Senseline can use AI (Anthropic's Claude) to suggest which of your glossary's meanings fits the page. Suggestions can be wrong, so treat them as a hint, not an answer. AI suggestions are on by default; your organization's admins can turn them off in Organization settings.

Other services we rely on

Senseline runs on Google Cloud and Cloudflare, takes payments through Stripe, sends email through Resend, and uses Anthropic's Claude for AI features. The Privacy Policy lists what each of them receives. The extension is installed from the Chrome Web Store, under Google's own terms.

Privacy

The Privacy Policy explains what we receive, what we never receive, and how long we keep it.

Ending

You can stop at any time. Uninstall the extension, and to delete your account and data, email privacy@senseline.io from your account address, as the Privacy Policy describes.

We can end or suspend your access if you break these terms, if the law requires it, or if we stop offering Senseline.

If we stop offering Senseline, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice, and if you ask in that time we'll send you a copy of your organization's glossary.

No warranties

Senseline is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind, as far as the law allows. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors, or that a meaning shown is correct. Meanings come from your organization's glossary, and your organization is responsible for them.

Limits on liability

As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost data. Our total liability for everything connected with Senseline is limited to what your organization paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $100 if it paid nothing.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law says can't be limited.

Changes to these terms

If we make an important change, we'll email everyone with an account 30 days before it takes effect, and update the date at the top. For small edits, like fixing wording, we just update the date. If you keep using Senseline after a change takes effect, you accept the new terms.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, USA. Disputes are heard in the state or federal courts located in Utah, and you and we agree to use those courts. If you're a consumer, this doesn't take away rights that the law where you live gives you.
